TÜV NORD EnSys is a leading full-service provider of expert services in the field of nuclear safety and has been active in Germany for more than 50 years. In 2019, it generated a total turnover of 77 Million € with some 510 permanent staff.

In Germany, its main role is working as an independent expert organization in support of regulatory authorities. The company carries out safety assessments and testing for approval and supervisory procedures required under nuclear energy regulations. This encompasses services throughout the entire life cycle of nuclear installations as well as storage and disposal solutions for nuclear waste.

TÜV NORD EnSys has worked in numerous international projects in Ukraine, Georgia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Jordan, Korea, and Switzerland. These projects focused on radioactive waste management and disposal, decommissioning, free release of radioactive materials, and remediation.
